We frequently hear people say, “I don’t want to take the kids until they’re old enough to remember it.” Speaking as people who went to Disney for the first time as teens, we don’t remember much of our first trips.

The 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE takes place daily from Aug. 29 through Nov. 23, which marks the first time the festival will get an August start date since before the pandemic. The last four festival years have all started in July.

Coming this spring to the “Coaster Capital of Orlando”! A first-of-it’s-kind stand-up coaster! No date given yet, but clearly they’re close. Imagine heading down to do Pipeline and Tron in the same trip! Spring is April, May, and June so room discounts are in place!

The Candlelight Processional at Epcot. A Symphony, a Choir of cast members, a chorus of high school students, and a guest celebrity narrator. Singing classic Christmas carols and reading the Christmas Story from the Bible. It was a Bucket-list item for us that we were finally able to check off. Bonus that Neil Patrick Harris was the Narrator for our show. We did the dining package so we had guaranteed seating and we blessed 2 other people with our extra tickets as the kids with us didn’t want to see the show. MAKING MAGIC

I can’t recall a time in my life that I didn’t love Disney and Mickey Mouse. I was fortunate enough go on to Walt Disney World when I was in the 9th grade on a school band trip in 1989. The magic was amazing. I didn't make it back to WDW until 2000, when my mother was coming out of a bad marriage and wanted fireworks for her birthday. I couldn’t think of any place but Disney World that would have fireworks in September. That’s when the Disney bug bit me hard. We lost my mom in May 2003 but I will always cherish the memories there with her. I have lost count of how many times I’ve been to Disney World. My husband and children love it there as well. After spending a lot of time helping others with their Disney plans and wishing to do more, I looked into becoming a vacation planner. Here is where my new journey begins!
