Are You Prepped for Your Walt Disney World Vacation?

No, I’m not talking about dining reservations or lightning lanes (though those are important, too! 😉). I’m talking about WALKING! 🚶‍♀️👟

If you’re like me 🙋‍♀️ and have a job where you spend most of your day sitting, this is definitely something to think about before your trip.

When I visited Walt Disney World in June, I walked over 20,000 steps a day—with one day hitting over 30,000! 😳 Even on our rest day, I still managed nearly 14,000 steps. For reference, the average person takes 2,250 steps to walk a mile. That’s a lot of walking! 🏰✨

You don’t want your feet or legs to be the thing that puts a damper on your magical vacation, so here’s my advice:

✅️ Start increasing your steps months before your trip. Ease into it by walking around your neighborhood 🏡, the gym 🏋️‍♀️, or even just parking farther from the store 🚗.
✅️ Invest in good shoes! 👟 Make sure they’re supportive and broken in before your trip. Trust me, you don’t want to test new shoes while trekking through the parks! 🎢

I know some of you might think I’m being a little extra here 🤷‍♀️, but I promise, you’ll thank me later! 🙌 Preparing your feet and legs now will help you fully enjoy every magical moment—from rope drop 🌅 to fireworks 🎆!
