Akshay, former cybersecurity expert, bought the 115-year old business in 2023 and has embraced the former owners’ well-established service model while adding creative innovations of his own. 📦📮
Akshay shifted to a better work-life balance by acquiring his first shipping business in Jenkintown, PA, in 2018. His passion for community support led to further ventures, including Hinkson's, in 2023. “We designed and printed business cards for a university admission counselor in under 45 minutes for an important event," Akshay says. "We were proud to help when it mattered most.”
Hinkson’s sells office and school supplies, printing supplies, planners and calendars, and packing and shipping supplies. They handle drop-offs and pack and ship worldwide using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.

Princeton Makes - Roots and Radiance
Princeton Makes is excited to announce the opening of its upcoming basement exhibition, Roots and Radiance. This thought-provoking exhibit will run through January 26, 2025, celebrating themes of growth, grounding, and the energy of new beginnings.
Roots and Radiance delves into the essence of connection, stability, and the dynamic energy that arises from our foundations. Participating artists, all members of Princeton Makes, have been invited to interpret the theme through their unique creative lenses.
The exhibit explores how roots—whether literal, cultural, or personal—serve as a foundation for growth, while radiance symbolizes the brilliance of potential, light, and forward momentum.
An Opening Reception will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, offering an opportunity for art enthusiasts and community members to meet the artists, explore their work, and engage in meaningful conversations about the inspirations behind the exhibit. Visitors can expect to beinspired by the diverse perspectives that illuminate the powerful relationship between stability and aspiration. All art will be available for purchase, and light refreshments will be provided.
