If you’re looking for a relaxing outdoor activity, we highly recommend ! 🛶🚣🐢

They have (2) different route options to choose from: Option 1: follow the river down stream to Hanalei Bay, then paddle back up stream to return the kayak or Option 2: (our preferred option) follow the river upstream to a turn around point, then flow down stream to return the kayak.

Each option provides completely different experience. Option 1 provides the majestic Hanalei Bay & Pier views, beach access, and views of the sprawling Napali Coast.

Option 2 allows you to paddle through the Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge and see an abundance of Kauai’s natural wildlife and beauty. The return trip back, after the turnaround point, is so peaceful flowing down river. You have a great opportunity to set the paddles down and get the camera out while the river slowly pushes you back to the put in point.
