We are honored to be part of this great community wide event. Roy and I invite you to join us at the ranch.
We will be offering a forestry tour, 'Demonstrating Historic and Modern Forest Techniques and Practices' from 1-3pm on Saturday.

We will be demonstrating horse logging among modern logging equipment. You will see different management practices for fire suppression, water retention, healthy forests and forest products resulting from each.

We will meet at the barnyard at 1:00pm and head out to the site 1/2 mile from the main ranch, with an opportunity to hike or drive.

Google maps Wine Down Ranch. We are 11 miles out on McKay Creek Rd.

We are so excited to be only a few days away from our Farm-to-Table Dinner! As we look forward to this event, we have a few more thank you's to express. This sold-out event would not be possible without the community support of the amazing folks in Crook County and Central Oregon who spread the word, purchased tickets, donated time and products, and of course, grew our ingredients.

Our final farm sources for this meal are Brittany's Bees --an apiary and artisan honeymaker based in Mitchell, and Central Oregon Locavore--a year-round, indoor farmers market located in Bend. We would also like to thank two local nonprofits for being close partners in this event: Visit Central Oregon, our Regional Destination Management Organization (RDMO) and gracious sponsor; and the High Desert Food and Farm Alliance, a local nonprofit managing the High Desert Food Trail and an abundance of food access and production resources.

Our first-ever, Wine Down Farm-to-Table Dinner is right around the corner! Beyond our ranch being the venue for this event, we will also be providing our grass-fed Angus beef for the Braised Short Ribs entree.

As a member of the High Desert Food Trail, we know the value of sourcing locally and supporting Central Oregon producers. For this meal, we have 4 additional High Desert Food Trail members contributing: two Crook County farm sources--L&S Farm and Garden, and Windy Acres Dairy Farm--as well as two wonderful Central Oregon beverage sponsors: Faith, Hope & Charity Vineyards and Initiative Brewing.

Our upcoming Farm-to-Table Dinner, organized in partnership with Explore Prineville, boasts an agritourism experience where visitors and locals alike can support community businesses; eat delicious, fresh food; and learn a little bit more about the land and people that grow it.

In alignment with keeping everything local, this event would not be possible without the contributions of these additional Crook County businesses: Canyon Moon Farms, our source of vegetables and herbs; Prineville Produce, our source of mushrooms from Central Oregon Spores & More; Landmark Catering, our dedicated chef; and lastly, Wagner's Market, another one of our gracious beverage sponsors.
