Travel Tip:

When traveling anywhere, whether domestically or abroad, always be sure you know the laws and adhere to them. Many people plan trips to destinations unknown and then experience something that goes against that countries or continents laws.
If your travel agent is dedicated to just more than booking your travels, they will make sure you have know everything you need before you leave!

We cannot stress this enough, make sure you have your passport in hand when ready to book your international trips. As a precaution for our clients and helping them to protect their investments, we will not book your trip unless you are passport ready.
We've seen so many book and not have their passports only to have to cancel and lose thousands because they not only didn't have the passport, but didn't obtain travel insurance.
Protect your investment and your peace, before you book, make sure you are passport ready!

How to Prepare for Holiday Travel

The holidays are a time for family, friends, and celebrations. But if you're one of the millions of people who will be traveling this holiday season, it can also be a time of stress and anxiety.
Whether you're flying cross-country to visit relatives or taking a road trip to see the sights, preparing for your trip in advance can help ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey. Here are a few tips to get you started:

The early bird gets the worm—or in this case, the best deals on flights and hotels. If possible, try to book your travel arrangements several weeks or even months in advance. Not only will you save money, but you'll also have your pick of dates and times. And if you're traveling with young children, it's always best to have your plans firmly in place well before the chaos of the holidays descends.

2️⃣ Make a List—and Check It Twice

Okay, so you might not be Santa Claus, but making a list is still an essential part of preparing for holiday travel. Our group of 31 are on their way to the beautiful country of Thailand, Koh Samui to be exact! We are so excited that this family vacation has come to fruition as it has been in the works since 2019, but as we all know the world was hit with a curve ball that prevented this lovely family from traveling. So here they are 2 years later, ready to embark on a weeks long time away from to bond with family. All 31 travelers are family, living in different parts of the world, coming together under 1 roof to relax, recharge and take in the serene atmosphere that Koh Samui has to offer.
We cannot wait to hear about their travels and view their photos and videos!

Moving forward, RARE Travel Experiences, LLC will require ALL clients to provide their passport information when traveling internationally.

This will help us to help you understand that many countries require at least 6 months validity AFTER your return date and to make sure that you actually have a passport in hand to travel within the timeframe you desire to do so.

All travelers will be required to complete our passport form within 10-business days of booking your trip. There will be no exceptions to this requirement.

We want to make sure that you are able to move freely, within the country you are traveling to, safely. Having the proper documents ensures that you will be able to do so. We at RARE Travel Experiences, LLC strive to protect you as well as your investment when you retain our services.

Travel Tip Tuesday!

With summer vastly approaching and many will be traveling again, here is a rule of thumb that we follow.
With passport prices having increased, new guidelines for different countries, its best to be sure to read up on those before booking travel. These guidelines change nearly daily, if you have your heart set on visiting Jamaica, set yourself a reminder to check for their guidelines.

Also, passports should be valid at least 6 months AFTER your RETURN date. Don't get caught at the airport and unable to travel because your passport expires within the next month, but you thought you could still travel because you return before it does. NOPE! You just lost your investment as now you cannot board your flight.

Be proactive! Be attentive! Listen to your travel consultant to prevent this from happening to you!
