Post-cruise ideas? My first river cruise took me to Lauterbrunnen the day of disembarking in Basel (Rhine River), and I later returned in 2022. Such a gorgeous area!!!

Take the kids out of the country without the hubby? You betcha!

Cave tubing was cancelled due to floods so we floated down a cave after hiking instead. Always get a signed / notarized letter from your spouse when taking your kiddos out of the country to be on the safe side. I'll be doing it again in 2016 but to Costa Rica as a land vacation....

Part of every cruise contract is something dealing with pregnancy. We as women answer this question either for online checkin or the 24 hour health screening, or both, but regardless, it’s in the cruise contract to cruise. I always feel like I read this question five times and watch my finger closely to not fat-finger the wrong answer! So stressful! And yes, this is an example of why I cannot do someone’s online checkin… I cannot accept the terms and conditions on behalf of someone else… only my own family. Always read carefully!

It always blows my mind when someone says “I just book direct…”
I wish I had money growing on trees. That’s a savings of almost $100 per night on the cruise…
Only TWO interior rooms left at this rate but others at higher rate… but shhhh… my MIDSHIP OCEAN BALCONY rate is only $50 more than the direct rate of interior guaranty if booking direct… I’m one who would definitely take a midship ocean balcony for 16 nights and choose exact location for less than fifty bucks more…
All of these ports plus Nassau before the crossing. Having done 3 transatlantic cruises myself with my family (2 westbound, 1 eastbound from Galveston to Barcelona), I can say I definitely love them!!!

$1471 for two in an interior including port charges and government taxes!
Seven nights interior in good locations (not Guaranty rooms the cruise line picks)
Same rooms direct are almost $400 more (with NON refundable deposit) whereas mine are refundable until final payment in February AND you get $50 onboard credit per room.
Excellent timeframe to avoid Spring Break and Easter crowds yet sail prior to Hurricane Season officially beginning.
