No tours tonight. Huddled in my thermals under a blanket.

This weekend and I put on our micro spikes and trekked up a windy ridge to enjoy a view of the lakes (not so windy over the crest). Inside tonight, but can't wait to get out in the fresh air for a haunt or a hike🖤

Hauntings and holidays tonight!

First a "Christmas on Benefit Street" tour at 5pm, then a haunted tour at 7pm. The city was magical, with holiday music filtering up the hill from the Three Nights of Lights celebration happening down city, a brass band serenading us outside , and the lovely greenery and decorations along the tour routes.

The chill in the air is the perfect opportunity to gather friends and family, pack some thermoses of hot cocoa, and bundle up for a nighttime stroll through Providence's most haunted neighborhood.

Today we take a moment to thank our veterans for their selfless service.

Our military pledge their lives to our nation. They care for our neighbors during natural disasters, provide aid throughout the world when given the opportunity to do so, and believe to their core in the philosophical pillar of our nation- "with liberty and justice for all."

Our commitment to our military members is often less than they deserve. Women in the military face specific challenges, including that of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) that is often underreported, lacks accountability for the perpetrators, and lacks ongoing services and supports. There are many people working toward changing this and in erasing gender gaps that exist in many corners of the military. An organization doing excellent work in this area is SWAN- Service Women's Action Network. They provide advocacy on a national level to establish policies that support people of all gender identities, to find resources for those impacted by sexual violence and other injustices, and to create a vision of a future where these issues are a sad mark on history, not a continued injustice.

In honor of Veterans' Day and the women who bravely serve our nation, our Good Spirit Award for November is a $500 donation to SWAN.

Let's support our service members and honor a safer, more just vision of our country.

Our weekday tours are tiny but do continue this time of year. On Monday night, I had the privilege of leading just one guest on her tour and it was LOVELY! She was in town for a job interview. It was so fun to introduce her to our city and help her fall in love, while giving her pep talks for her interview.

Folks, she contacted me today and SHE GOT THE JOB!!! I like to think that our spirits smiled on her and gave her future employers a nudge in the right direction👻

The lesson is- Take a ghost tour before your job interview.

Last night's tour was wild. It was a tiny group, so I thought it a nice opportunity to use Ghost Tube at two stops. I'm never sure how accurate/real that app is, but it adds some fun and the guests were amenable, so why not? Well, each stop was hopping with relevant commentary from our paranormal partners. I'm still a bit over the moon. Fingers crossed that tonight is just as charmed! *Yes, the filming is horrible. No, those are not good angles. I was focused on telling my stories, so we're all going to be sweet about the camera work. Thank you:)

A huge thanks to Deb V for her sensitive ears and paranormal skills! Deb, Sue, and I had the awesome opportunity to do an investigation in a local Armory. They've experienced a pretty famous Bible being moved, so we asked the ghosties about it and...voila! "I just move stuff, that's okay." Yes ma'am, it sure is. Providence Ghost Tour is a 90-minute haunted history tour of Providence’s fabled College Hill neighborhood. We believe that the ether of the past mingles with the energy of today. Join our guides as we depart Prospect Terrace Park and lead guests by lantern light through the charmingly crooked streets of Providence, shining light on some of our long gone but never forgotten residents.
