101 Alpacas Ranch

For anyone who visited the ranch while we were still doing ranch tours, they soon came to know our alpaca partner Sole. He was first to greet people and was kind to everyone particularly the kids. On Wednesday morning Sole finished his time in this world and his spirit moved to a better place. We will miss his unique alpaca personality, and the way he always assumed responsibility of caring for everyone in his herd, including us.

Mr. Rodda took the Huacaya best head category at IAO 2014 this last weekend in Sacramento. He is out of our herd sire Morro which has been doing a great job on his cria!

I had such an amazing time today! I had an opportunity/invite to go to Ann's Web fiber spinning group today. What an amazing and kind group of people. I was allowed to bring raw fleece and rovings to sell. The kind comments everyone had about our stuff was amazing. Gerry is going to teach me to use a drop spindle and I'm so excited! Thanks to Trish Spalding for inviting and introducing me to such a wonderful group of people!

My friend Lori & I at the Pacific Grove Farmers Market. Lori sells eggs and I'm going to sell Alpaca Products starting this Monday Dec 2nd. Woohoo!
