Got to spend the afternoon ice fishing with Jeric. We caught some nice sized, fat and thick perch and walleyes. Of course, we both had our share of fish getting off in the hole. I got a phone call yesterday from this young man and he wanted to go hunting with me! It's been a few years since he has gone hunting with me or shot a shotgun. He shot his limit of Prairie Chickens and the only rooster we saw. Fun day.

Went out Grouse hunting this weekend. Great way to get the crew and myself ready for the upcoming guiding pheasant season. Got my limit yesterday. No luck today. I may need some more trips under my belt. Left knee isn't doing very well.

What a beautiful day to be on the water fishing. I was the low man in regards to catching walleyes on the river today, basically non existent. Thankfully, they let me stay out a little longer so I could say I caught a keeper!

Nice fall day of fishing for these two brothers from the Larchwood, Iowa area. Don was catching them pretty frequently today. He attributed that to having a few months off from fishing recovering from his accident earlier this summer
