Sacandaga dropped another 2ft plus this week! Walleye bite has slowed in our areas we normally fish due to the low water levels. So off to Oneida and Chaumont, and possibly Lake George for the remainder of winter! Get a hold of us now to get out on your Ice fishing adventure!! Monster eyes on chaumont ( 11lber from this week pictured) and the best eaters on Oneida! Perch you say? No shortage of perch on both Chaumont and Oneida, but if your looking for an epic day, the no limit perch zone in Chaumont is the way to go!

With the potential Striped Bass Fishery shutdown in discussion's for next season, I have decided to open up the month of April for Striped Bass fishing on the Hudson River in the Coeymans area. We will be doing both live bait and trolling fishing. If anyone is interested please message me as this option won't be available on the website.

Starting off the New Year with some love for our Nation's at home heroes. These are our first responders who show up any time of day to any incident ready to help those in need.

To show our appreciation again this season, we will be giving away a trip to one of these local men and women who risk life and limb to help fellow man.

This is open to anyone who has served in any capacity be it paid or volunteer, as a first responder, EMT, Firefighter, Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Ambulance Driver, Dispatcher. If you answer the call, this one is for you!

These are the last available Saturdays for the season! Still some Sundays available and plenty of weekday availability! Get in on the action this season!!

In order to comply with new NYS laws concerning credit card fee surcharges, we will be adjusting our charter prices to reflect Totals IF you pay by credit card or debit card. Cash payments will then be discounted 3% from the charter rates to be posted. Yes I know it sounds silly that I can't post a cash price and then add a credit card surcharge like we all get at practically every store we go to now, but it's now only legal for me to post the total price including the fees, and then offer the cash discount. Sorry for the inconvenience!

As we get ready to close out 2024, and ring in 2025, Over The Rail Sportfishing would like to thank each and every one of you who came out this year, or at any point, to support and fish with me! The fellas and the ladies had a good day today! This group had never fished before or iced fish! They did a phenomenal job landing a bunch of pickerel and a couple of perch. Lots of dropped fish today as well where they would hit the baits and spit them. Tipups, deadsticks and buckshot rattle spoons all putting in the work on a -13 degree morning!
