Is Coastal Cozy set up for your family's holiday or special meals? You tell me. Christmas dinner with 12 pound standing rib roast, green bean casserole, twice baked potatoes, and yorkshire pudding. Not pictured - Ainsleys banana cream pie. Yum. Yum.

Great morning fishing with Southern Tail Charters. Highly recommend Captain Jeff. Kids caught some nice fish. The monster snook and bonnet head shark were their top moments but I'll enjoy the trout tacos tonight. The only issue was many of the trout were too big big to keep. Can't wait to go again.

Our home away from home received minor damage from hurricane Milton. Thankfully, there was only a little water in the house. Please pray for those with more significant damage. After a little bit of work, our piece of paradise will be back to perfect shape in no time.

Once the power came on, we did get extremely lucky with something that could have been much much worse.....

Public service message. If you had any flooding in your home, make sure you check any electronics that could have gotten wet. We missed one power strip behind a bed. If it wasn't for good friends and the Punta Gorda fire department, our house would have burnt down today.

We got lucky. Unfortunately many others did not. The hurricane surge got up to the level of our lanai and our front door...

Manatee Park. $1 for the family. Only 30 minutes from Coastal Cozy - Punta Gorda . Great spot in cooler months to see tons of manatees. Over 50 in the lagoon today.
