✈️ Travel to our host community, home to about 500–1,000 people, located in the central Andean highlands north of Quito. Experience local culture and everyday life as you work with locals to complete several community-determined volunteer projects.

🌅 In the afternoons and evenings, play pick-up soccer with Ecuadorian friends, practice your Spanish, hike into the hills surrounding your community, or enjoy a swim in the nearby stream!

A family of 12 elephants, babies included, entered gracefully in tandem with our arrival. Hypnotically, we watched the elephant families engage with each other amongst a plethora of springbok, zebras, giraffes, and a black rhino with her baby. Watching the different species of animals congregate peacefully together was an unparalleled experience." 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
