For the first time in a long time.... all my classes are taking enrollments ! QC starts next week and only has a couple of open spots. The Mesa classes just opened up this week. Z Room usually has a drop in option, but we start a new topic next week, so now is a great time to join us and get the 6 week pass. If you have been looking for something to do for YOU, this back to school season, I think I may just have the answer :)

I have sooooo much to say about our weekend at Belly Dancer USA, but I need to move my bum and teach class. I did 10 hours of the most wonderful workshops, and now I have blisters on my toes (I'm double jointed, so its not unexpected). Strapping them up like I did 40 years ago in ballet class !

DAYTIME PEEPS ! What do you want for Fall ? I am looking at Thursday lunchtimes, at Eagles in Mesa, mixed ability, August/Sept/Oct. Do you want to follow the school year (if so, give me the dates), do you want earlier, later.... I love this venue, do you like it ? Mesa wants to do more daytime classes, but they also have to run them at 75% capacity, which means I need the numbers. Who is in ?

Hafla tonight ! -

I'm mad at myself that I have not picked music for the Hafla tonight. If you know me, you know that I'm the list maker, and I like to be prepared. This Hafla is super relaxed and many dancers pick pot luck. I cant do this, but I do have 12 curated CDs of tracks I know and love to pick from. But its not done yet, and I'm disappointed in myself. Then I remembered that I have taught 7 classes , two privates, and a team practice in the last 4 days.... so yeah, I should just pick a song and have fun doing it.

This morning I went to work with a lesson plan, and ended up teaching something completely different, cos I didnt get the dancers I was expecting, and those I did get, had some clear aims they wanted covered. Tonight may be more predictable, or might also bring surprises... and thats why I love my job :)
