Based in Quitman, Mississippi, The Warehouse was founded in March 2010 as an extension of the youth ministry of Bethany Church. Since then, the Warehouse and its ministry team have focused on seeing teenagers experience the overwhelming love of Jesus Christ and learning what it is to be a true disciple. Our teaching focuses on the life of Jesus and the reality of what he calls us to: the Cross. Th
e ministry itself was founded out of a need to step beyond the four walls of the Church and to plant a beacon of light in the middle of a dark place. Jesus gave us two distinct pictures of how the Church should operate. First, in his parable of the wedding banquet in Matthew 22, Jesus commanded us to go into the "highways and the hedges and bid them to come in."And second in the great commission, Jesus commanded the Church to "go to the ends of the Earth, preaching the Gospel." So often the Church does not do enough to impact the community that it exists in. The Warehouse ministry intends on changing that. We have weekly services every Wednesday night at 7 and periodically on Saturday nights. We are not a big ministry or a fancy ministry. We are simply a group of believers that desire to see God move in the Quitman area and we are doing whatever is required to fulfill that goal.
