📣As we continue to monitor Tropical Depression Four, the depression has shifted further to the west. It is expected to become a tropical storm over the Southeastern Gulf Of Mexico later today. There is still the potential for significant rainfall in Central Florida over the next few days.
📱We're in contact with our travelers because that's part of our job. We watch for closings, delays and cancellations, and we're ready to spring into action to make sure that they're safe and taken care of if their travel plans are interrupted.

📣We are closely monitoring our theme parks in Central Florida, and the possible path of the incoming storm.
As of 5 pm eastern, 8-2-24, everything is operating as planned and there are no closures yet.
We're keeping an eye on everything for our travelers, as we always do! It's part of our job!

Part of what we do for our travelers is make sure that they arrive and depart safely, which means that we also watch weather systems.
For the past week, we've been watching this system, which could become Tropical Storm Debby. There's a lot of land before she heads into the Gulf of Mexico, so we're not sure what track she's going to take, but rest assured, we're keeping an eye on her.
Pro Tip: while traveling during hurricane season (June 1-November 1) always plan for severe weather and always get trip insurance!

When we check the times schedule in MDE and see that Mariachi Cobre are around, we’ll be in the front row to hear them play!
