Let’s hear it for our hardworking hometown first responders! 🥳
4x donation match for the Racine Salvation Army
Join us this Saturday, December 14th for Fisk Johnson Match Day with our local Racine County Salvation Army. This year, for every $1 donated at the kettles, an additional $4 will be contributed through a 2x match from our Chairman and CEO, H Fisk Johnson and an additional 2x match from SC Johnson.
We'll be at multiple Red Kettle locations across the Racine area—right in our own backyard. Let’s come together to make this the biggest donation match day in Wisconsin history. We hope to see you there!
The threat of #malaria continues to increase, and today the World Health Organization (WHO) issued a clarion call for sharper focus on, and more progress toward, this entirely preventable disease.
In 2023, there were:
* 263M malaria cases
* nearly 600K malaria deaths
While nearly 50% of the world’s population is at risk of malaria, the World Health Organization's African Region continues to shoulder the largest burden, accounting for 94% of all global malaria cases and 95% of all malaria deaths.
By manufacturing our spatial repellents where the need is greatest and working with partners such as United to Beat Malaria, Society for Family Health, Rwanda, The MENTOR Initiative and others, we can deliver help, and hope, to the millions impacted by malaria.

🌊 One year ago today, the awe-inspiring #TheBlueParadox exhibit on the ocean plastic waste crisis was unveiled at Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
Since then, nearly 300k visitors and stakeholders have experienced the exhibit, with 200K+ pledging to take action, such as encouraging government leaders to implement federal recycling initiatives, getting involved in local efforts or taking personal steps to reduce plastic waste.
Together with Conservation International, we are proud to highlight this critical issue and the actions needed to solve it. It’s going to take all of us—governments, businesses, and consumers—working together to turn the tide.

A lot can change in 4 years, but our commitment to combat malaria has not!
Since we first posted this video, we have gathered more partners, strengthened our research and developed a new spatial repellent to help the communities that need it most.
To date, SC Johnson Guardian™ and Mosquito Shield™ spatial repellents have helped protect over 849,000 people across 11 countries.
Thanks to the amazing SCJ team and partners, we are one step closer to getting a WHO policy recommendation – which would dramatically increase our impact in the fight against mosquito-borne diseases.

The ocean gives us life in every beautiful, surprising, and fascinating way. But as much as we depend on the oceans to survive, future generations depend on us.
On #WorldOceansDay and every day, we must recognize the impact plastic pollution is having on oceans and on animal, human and planet health. It will require everybody in the plastic ecosystem working together to tackle this problem. The only way to do that is through good regulation.

More than 500 solar panels are mounted on the rooftop of our HQ in Racine, Waxbird Commons. 20% of these panels are high-performing, bifacial panels that produce 30% more energy than traditional panels. This is just one of the many ways we incorporate #sustainable solutions across our campuses!
