Below are 5 things you can do or tell yourself to get rid of that fear.

1. Turbulence is just pockets of wind currents that make the plane a little wobbly. Planes are literally designed to handle it.
2. Learn about the plane and the safety measures that are in place. The more you know the more confident you will feel.
3. Talk to staff or people you are flying with. Be honest that you are nervous and get comfortable with the flight attendants that will be taking care of you.
4. Pick your seat. If you are afraid of heights, then don’t sit by the window. If you are claustrophobic then sitting by the window would be helpful, or upgrading to first class would be worth it!
5. Tell yourself you’re going to be okay. People fly all day, every day with no problems.

🇮🇹 Italy-Rome, Portofino, Cinque Terre, Palermo. We had an incredible time spending our last few days in Italy. Italy has always been my favorite and this visit reconfirmed my love. I enjoyed seeing these breathtaking sights again through the eyes of my children. “You may have the universe if I may have Italy.” – Giuseppe Verdi We are now back home after three exhausting days that were filled with cancelled and delayed flights, random hotels (one nice and one pretty freighting) assigned by American Airlines, meal vouchers, long lines, no sleep, and wearing the same clothes for two+ days in a row. Pack your patience, folks. Air travel right now isn’t for the faint of heart…but seeing the world is always worth it!

From ancient villages to modern French cities, we enjoyed exploring some of the beautiful coastal towns of the French Rivera. Sanary Sur Mer was a particular favorite and we can’t wait to come back and spend more time there!
