There are many new faces here and it's been a while, so let me introduce myself. My name is Hanah and I'm the face behind the Magical Moments by Hanah account.

I was a cast member in 2016-2017 at Walt Disney World and have been unofficially planning my friends and families vacations since. Once I realized that it wouldn't cost my friends/family a dime to work with me, I decided to take the leap and officially become a travel agent specializing in Disney vacations at the end of 2021.

✨DISNEY CRUISE SHIPS✨

One of the most frequent questions I get about Disney Cruise Line is, "What is the best ship?"

I'll be sharing all about the different ships over the next several weeks, but here is an overview of the ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

Currently, there are five ships actively sailing with another coming at the end of this year and two more slated in 2025. I have clients that have sailed on all five active ships as well as several booked for the Disney Treasure next year, so I'm well versed in the differences and can help you pick the best one for your vacation.

✨PARK BAG ESSENTIALS✨

Are you headed to Disney or Universal? Here are some things that you need to take in your park bag (and yes, I recommend at least one park bag per group).

1️⃣ Portable Charger - If you're using Genie+, Mobile Ordering, or even just taking pictures takes a lot of battery and you'll be glad you have this at the end of the night when you want to take fireworks pictures!

2️⃣ Water Bottle - Use this to help keep you hydrated throughout the day!

3️⃣ Sun Screen - This is the most overlooked item to bring and one of the most important! Make sure to put it on in the morning and reapply during the day.

4️⃣ Entertainment - This can be whatever you want it to be, but don't forget to bring something to help pass time in lines, especially for the little ones.

5️⃣ Poncho - No matter what the weather says, you will likely run into rain showers in Florida. Bring a poncho to be safe (or to use on water rides so you're not soaked) and don't forget a stroller puzzle too!

✨NEW DISNEY CRUISES✨

Disney Cruise Line sailings through early September 2025 are now available for everyone to book! Starting at the end of December 2024, Disney will have six ships in rotation, meaning there are more cruise options than ever before.

Next summer, you could sail to Alaska on the Disney Wonder, Europe on the Disney Fantasy, or sail around the Bahamas and Caribbean on the Disney Wish, Treasure, Magic, and Dream out of Florida.

Not sure if you want to plan that far ahead? It's not too late to book a Disney cruise for this summer or holiday season! Disney has announced Halloween, Christmas, Marvel, and Pixar themed cruises if you're looking for something a little more unique on your sailing. In 2025, Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure will also be added to the rotation {probably late fall} if you want to get on my waitlist for those ships too.

Don't forget - booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation with me in March or April will qualify you for free onboard credit! You can use this towards drinks, snacks, excursions, merchandise, or anything else you want to purchase on board.

Disney is just not slowing down...we have Summer 2025 Disney cruise itineraries and dates with booking opening up for everyone in just a week!

Here is when you can book:
-Pearl Castaway Club Status on Monday

You can sail to Alaska, Europe, Bahamas, or the Caribbean this summer. The Disney Fantasy will be making its first trip to Europe while the Disney Wonder will return to Alaska. Bringing back this favorite with updated options since I'm getting a lot of questions about what would fit my budget lately.

I used a quote I recently received where a couple wanted to spend at most $3,500 on the trip part of the vacation sometime in the last half of this year. The most all-inclusive the better, but they knew this wouldn't include flights/travel or some food/extras they wanted to purchase. They we're flexible and open to any Disney suggestions.

✨DISNEY SUMMER TIPS✨

Are you taking a trip to Disney World this summer? It’s so important that you’re prepared so that you can have a great vacation!

Here are a few (of my many) tips for you:

1️⃣ Take shortcuts through shops while going through the parks. Get out of the sun and enjoy the A/C periodically throughout the day. Make sure to sit inside for your lunch, even if it’s quick service!

2️⃣ Wear all of your clothes at least once before your trip! Shoes should be broken in for at least a week before your trip to have the best chance of not getting blisters. Make sure your clothes are comfy and won’t irritate you even as you’re sweating in the Orlando heat!

3️⃣ Be prepared when packing! Poncho, water bottle, band aids, and pain medicine are all things you should have with you in your park bag during the hot months. Make yourself drink more water than you ever think you would need and bring some water flavoring packets/drops if that will help.

✔ It varies based on your sailing and room type, but the minimum is $25 per reservation.

I've had so many questions about what vacations are currently open for booking, so here's a look! Anything that is on a waitlist is not currently available for booking and the last slide is everything I am currently booking.

I have a running waitlist for all of these different vacation types, so if you want to join it, let's chat about what you're looking for! Special Ticketed Events are things like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party later this year.

✨BUDGET FRIENDLY DISNEY CRUISE TIPS✨

Here are a few basic ways that you can start off by planning a Disney Cruise that will fit your budget.

1) If you're planning to go on a shorter cruise, then I would consider staying in an oceanview room rather than a verandah. Any longer than four nights and you will be in your room enough that splurging is worth it, but you won't be in your room much on a shorter cruise to be able to use it. The exception is if you have a little one that you want to nap in the room while you sit outside on the verandah.

2) Pick your ship wisely. The Disney Wish is incredible, but it's not the most affordable ship to sail on. You can go on other Disney ships to Disney's private islands for a smaller price tag and sometimes they are longer cruises too!

3) Use me as your travel agent. I have so many tips for saving money or ways you could go all out and splurge if that's what you want. It's all at no cost to you and I'm here to give you recommendations and help every step of the way! They don't call me the Disney Cruise Line Expert for nothing 😉

This is the LAST week to take advantage of the current Disney Cruise Line promotion. Book your cruise by Friday to sail between June 17, 2024 and May 31, 2025 and only pay 50% of the deposit at the time of booking!

Normally Disney requires a deposit of 20% of the cruise fare at the time of booking, but with this promo, it’s only 10%! This is helpful because you don’t have to pay as much up front to book your vacation. You can pay a smaller (refundable) deposit now for a cruise next year and have almost a year to pay it off if you want!

Just so I know where my people are...did anyone else just sing Camp Rock 2 in their head reading that or was that just me? 🤣

There are so many new faces here I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Hanah and I'm the person behind Magical Moments by Hanah. I'm a travel agent that specializes in Disney Vacations and give you my honest Disney opinions and tips on here!

This is my fun/passion job in addition to working full-time at a local non-profit. I live in North Carolina with my fiancee and our dog. We're planning a Disney honeymoon for next year and have a Disney Cruise coming up later this year to Disney's brand new private island! There might also be another trip in the works, but nothing official yet 😉

✨ADULTS ON DISNEY CRUISES✨

I know that a Disney Cruise Line isn't the first cruise line the general public thinks of for an adult only cruise, but I'm here to tell you from personal experience that it can be! Here are a few tips for navigating a Disney Cruise as an adult trying to avoid kiddos when possible.

-Choose second dining! First dining will be full of families and there will be less during second dining. This also means you'll have less kids during the nightly Broadway style shows because they will be at dinner during the first show that you go see.

-Take advantage of the adult only areas! There are adult only pools as well as bars/lounges that are adult only areas too. Did you know that the spa is also kid free? Splurging on the rainforest room pass can give you a space to relax without the possibility of even seeing kids as they aren't allowed in the space at all.

-Finally, if you're looking for adult beverages to enjoy on the ship, don't forget that there are always specials going on! Whether it's the drink of the day, happy hour at the bar, or the wine or beer package, there is something for everyone that is looking to indulge in alcohol on their trip.

✨CHARACTER DINING✨

You can find character dining options are throughout Walt Disney World property - not only in the parks but at resorts too! There are options for a buffet meal or being served at the table.

One thing to be careful of is to not overbook these experiences, especially if you plan on spending all your time in the parks. They can really eat into your park time and keep you from getting to everything you want to do. If you're doing the Disney Dining Plan, most character dining restaurants have the option to use two table-service credits for one dining experience.

If you want to do a character dining experience outside of the park - remember that you can go to one at any resort - even if you're not staying there! I recommend these for the dinner on arrival day or breakfast on departure day or anytime on a rest day.

✨SEASICKNESS INFO✨

I always hear from people that want to go on a Disney Cruise but are concerned about seasickness - here's my advice and experience.

*Starting with clarifying that I'm not a doctor* If you're someone who has been diagnosed or have previously talked to your doctor about motion sickness or seasickness, then make sure to discuss your cruise beforehand. Often times there are medications that they can prescribe for the cruise that can help you.

Will this be your first exposure and you're not sure how your body will react? Go into the vacation prepared! There are seasickness remedies available on the ship, but they are expensive to purchase and the free medication next to health services can make you drowsy.

Did you know that there are non-drowsy and less-drowsy versions of Dramamine? I personally take the less-drowsy and it helps me so much! Ginger chews, sea bands, and motion sickness patches are also options that people have said help a lot.

Finally, did you know sea legs are a thing?! I didn't before my first cruise and was so disoriented when we disembarked. This is where you still feel like you are swaying/rocking on the ship, but you're not on the ship anymore - you're on solid land. It can last a few days and the same seasickness remedies above can help with this too!

Picking the right cabin for someone that has seasickness can also be key - I can help you do that 😉 Do you get seasickness? Let me know what you do to avoid it in the comments!

There could always be a delay or cancellation or risk of missing that all aboard time and the ship won’t wait for you. I recommend getting in at least one day before your cruise. If you’re driving, give yourself plenty of buffer room so that in case you hit traffic or get stuck behind an accident, you’re still on time.
