Saw this little guy today in the wild!! Our very first sighting of a Gila Monster on the mountain roads along the Apache river. As an animal-loving family, we were ecstatic! Apparently, it’s pretty rare to see them as they only spend 3-5% of their time above ground.

Flora Appreciation - Joshua Trees. Spiky, huge, alien. Our kids have learned not to touch anything in this desert. As our little man puts it, “Everything is spiky!” We had a great time in Joshua Tree NP, especially bouldering up huge granite rocks! The Mohave Desert and the Colorado Desert converge in this park to create a truly other worldly experience! 💕

When I lived in Singapore, I used to come to this prata shop so often that I didn't need to order. I would sit down and hold up either one or two fingers and make a drinking gesture with my hand, and they would bring me one or two cheese egg pratas and an ice milo. The management has changed so I had to order this time, but it was just as delicious as ever. Da besssst.
