If considering a trip to Greece, feel free to reach out to me for advice! I recently had a wonderful trip to mainland Greece, the Island of Crete and Santorini. Most Greek people can speak English, making it such an easy place for Americans to travel to.
The American dollar goes much farther in Greece. They thrive on tourism.
For foodies-- Not only is the food is of a better quality , it is also much more affordable than other places in Europe. The fish is caught and cooked same day, the vegetables taste very fresh and much better than our grocery store veggies. You won't find much beef, but more lamb and chicken dishes.
*hot tip* The Greek government capped the costs of certain staple items during their financial collapse several years ago. You will find all regular 750ml bottles of water are only 50 cents and a ham and cheese sandwich is no more than 1.50 euro.

Planning a Nile river cruise for November-ish 2026 time frame. This trip will include a "primarily" river cruise on the Nile with stops in main tourist attractions, museum tours, & flights to Jordan to see Petra and other important sites. If you would be even slightly interested, let me know. I will be happy to provide more details. This is not a trip the Rick and I are bringing our kids on, but if you want to bring kids- I could price it for you. Price will include the following: Internal transportation, 4-5 star hotels, Nile Cruise on luxury cruise ship, most meals. Price will not include: Flight TO Cairo and back to USA, tips/gratuities, personal purchases.
Trip will be between 10-15 days, not including flights to and from USA.
*This is a once in a lifetime trip for most of us*
I will be getting pricing and placing a deposit before 2024 is done, so if you have any interest in this trip please let me know. I don't work well on last minute timelines. The cruiseline accepts deposits and payments.
