Happy Spring! Spring is when nature shows off, and some places take it to a whole new level.

Think cherry blossoms so stunning they don’t look real, tulip fields that stretch for miles, and hidden spots where spring flowers steal the show.

What’s the REAL Difference Between a three, four, and five-star hotel?
Let me break it down for you:

⭐ 3-Star Hotels – Think Holiday Inn, Courtyard by Marriott.
Three-star hotels major on being the comfortable & functional option for travelers. Expect on-site dining, standard rooms, and solid service, but don’t count on luxury perks like room service or spas.

⭐ 4-Star Hotels – Think Westin, Hyatt Regency, Kimpton.
Four-star hotels are a step up in style, service & amenities. You’ll find upscale décor, concierge service, multiple dining options, pools & fitness centers. Rooms are typically more spacious with premium bedding.

⭐ 5-Star Hotels – Think Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis.
This is the ultimate luxury experience. Expect personalized service, Michelin-star dining, designer interiors, world-class spas, and exclusive experiences. The difference? Every detail is crafted around your comfort, privacy, and experience

Pro Tip: Star ratings aren’t always universal.
A 4-star hotel in Europe might feel more like a 3.5-star in the U.S. (or vice versa). And I bring up chain hotels, but what I really love is a boutique hotel! Regardless, that's where an expert like myself truly does come in handy to help you find the right fit for you.

Truthfully though, not everyone had the time to scroll through a million reviews on Expedia to figure out the perfect trip.
And how do you know if the person leaving those reviews really cares about the same things you do?

Mexico is so much more than Cancun and the Rivera Maya!

One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is introducing my clients to new ways to explore and go beyond Cancun.

And yes — Cancun/Rivera Maya are amazing, as many people know I have been A LOT! But..... if you’re looking for something different, here’s a few ideas:

Isla Mujeres
🌴 Postcard-perfect beaches without the crowds
Just a 20-minute ferry ride from Cancun, Isla Mujeres feels like a hidden gem. Think crystal-clear water at Playa Norte, vibrant local charm, and epic snorkeling with colorful marine life. It’s a quiet escape where time slows down, and yes, you can still sip margaritas by the beach.

Mexico City
🌮 This city has the highest concentration of Museums int he world! It is know for its food, art deco culture and Chapultepec Park, one of the largest urban parks in the Western Hemisphere. How fun would a long weekend here be?!

Cabo
☀️A little more sophistication, but without those swimmable beaches.
Cabo is know for the "Beverly hills" of Mexico where a lot of celebrities reside. The cliffs have some of the best views, some of the lowest crime and perfect weather! who doesn't want to kick back and relax, you want even spot some Whales while you are visiting!

The most common mistakes travelers make — from a travel advisor who books dozens of trips a year.👇

I’ve seen it all, from canceled flights that leave people stranded to fighting food poisoning on the other side of the world.

But these are the most common mistakes I see travelers making:

➡️ Packing way too much and then dealing with lugging heavy luggage all over the place

➡️ Skipping travel insurance because ‘nothing will happen‘ (until it does😬)

➡️ Booking connecting flights that leave you with just minutes to sprint between gates.
