"I would say that the best part of my job is that no matter where I am, I can work literally from anywhere on my computer.

The combination of whale watching and wine tasting makes for an ideal day. Tomorrow, we'll travel to San Miguel for an off-road tour and my last day in the Azores. I encountered an issue with my carry-on luggage at the airport, as it was damaged when checked for our small aircraft, resulting in the purchase of a new 22-inch luggage.🤨

Three days of touring Terceria, Azores , two days of meeting with local destination experts from Spain, Portugal , Italy and even Iceland! I have so many amazing experiences that I can’t wait to share with the team and my clients . On to three more days of touring the Azore islands of Pico and San Miguel before heading home ! Still hanging strong with my carry on only wardrobe!

Sip and Savor! 🍹

If you like piña colada, you should know the famous tropical drink was invented in Puerto Rico! The sweet mix of coconut cream, pineapple juice, white rum, and ice was born in San Juan, but the identity of its creator is still an unresolved controversy on the Island.

We have created a lighter version of the traditional Pina Colada. Here is our "secret" recipe! 👇🏻

1. Get a short glass with lots of ice
2. One part Coconut Rum (1.5 ounces)
3. Add a small amount of Banana Liqueur (to taste)
4. Add Pineapple juice
5. Top off it with a dark rum floater (Myers or similar)

Client trip review! ⭐

"We had a great time and enjoyed the CIE tour. Our driver was knowledgeable and entertaining. We covered a lot of territory but saw all the major attractions. The Cliffs of Mohr were spectacular, and we really liked the Giant’s Causeway too.

I’m glad we spent a few extra days in Dublin on our own, and we saw almost everything. It’s easy to get around, and the taxis are reasonable. The food was adequate, but based on another bus tour I took, it was to be expected. You can only eat so much Irish Guinness Stew.

All the hotels were nice, and we met a lot of nice people on the trip. The Wilder Townhouses were beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay there. However, the Shoebox room, was just that, a shoebox. So, before we unpacked anything, I asked if they had something larger, and they gave us a nice size room, at no additional charge. The breakfast was excellent and they gave us a complimentary Gin and Tonic when we checked in. They have a small bar there, that’s open until 11 pm.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ireland!"

Portugal, here I come!! I am excited to have been selected to be part of the Europe Travel Forum 2024 which will be on Terceira Island, The Azores. My journey will start with a couple of days in Lisbon before the conference and continue to three more destinations in The Azores after the conference. I was selected to attend because of my passion for planning Europe vacations and the high quality of TTrip and Sip Full Service Travel Agency I am also excited that one of our amazing advisors KKristin Ricewill be joining me on this adventure. Now to figure out how to get 12 days of clothes in a carry on :)

When traveling abroad we always encourage our clients to stay in local unique hotels rather than chains. This hotel will be my home for a few days in Lisbon next week! This is a luxury five star hotel in the center of the city with beautiful timeless charm. More pictures to come!

Recent client trip review! 😁👇🏻

"One of my favorite destinations is Alaska. Our family vacation was on the Regal Princess in July. Alaska cruises are available May-October. Living on the East Coast with temperatures in the 90s or above makes Alaska in the summer the perfect getaway.

Cruising is my favorite way to travel, and I love what Princess offers. Ice cream was a big hit, as was face painting. Movies under the stars give a whole new meaning to curling up under a blanket and watching a movie on the big screen.

Cruising by the glaciers is definitely a unique experience. You could go up to the top decks and watch as the ship floats by, or you can order room service and watch while in PJs, socks, a robe, and a blanket on your balcony.

Totem poles were a frequent setting, as were the beautiful mountains. My favorite excursion (although pricey) was flying up to the top of the glacier on a helicopter. We then got out and hiked on the glacier. Boots were included for this trek.

There is not anything I didn’t enjoy on the cruise. I do wish the length of time in Ketchikan and Victoria were longer. There was so much to explore, but not enough time to do it."
