On Edelweiss Mountain... You are in the midst of one of North America's most ancient forests, the Paha Sapa (Black Hills), where Giant Ponderosa Pines tower into the air. Carved by wind, rain, and time, the granite peaks, and majestic mountains plunge into cavernous depths of gorges and canyons with secrets untold for a hundred generations. The only sounds you hear are the songs of the birds and

your own breathing being carried on the wind as the giant pines sigh in the mountain breeze. This "Paha Sapa" is just 2 miles from beautiful Lake Pactola, 4 miles from Sheridan Lake and 25 minutes from Rapid City, SD. Futher South is Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and many more attractions only 25-30 miles away. The attractions and explorations are endless.

We are grateful to have shared the last 25 years with our customers and guests. We had a vision of creating a world-class winery and brewery experience in the Black Hills of South Dakota and our customers and staff made that a reality. We will treasure those memories as we close Prairie Berry Winery, Miner Brewing and Addie Camp General Store. Business will continue as usual, as long as inventory holds out, through the end of 2024.

We could never accurately express what it's meant to share our family tradition of South Dakota wines and beers with people from around the world.

Follow us or check prairieberry.com for updates.

Let's not just go through the motions, but embrace each day with purpose and gratitude. Today, I was reminded of the impact we can make when a thoughtful package arrived from a former guest, expressing their appreciation for our hospitality. And when a young boy thanked me for returning his pressed penny, I knew we were making a difference. Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, and I hope we have inspired you as much as you have inspired us.
