Leira's Retirement!
Today marks Leira's last day with BH&B!❤️
Leira has been with BH&B for over 30 years, and during that time she has not only been a role model to newcomers, but an essential smiling face in the office.
It's truly bittersweet to see her leave, but we are so happy to share in a celebration of the fun moments she's had with BH&B.
Thank you so much for everything, and best of luck in your next chapter, Leira! 😊

Memorial Day
Wishing everyone a pleasant Memorial Day from us at Black Hills and Badlands Tourism Association.
While we are hoping everyone makes the best of their weekend and fills it with adventure and quality time, we'd like to pause and reflect on the meaning behind this holiday. We'd like to remember those who have fallen and thank everyone for their service; we are grateful for all the sacrifices made to keep us safe. Have a wonderful week! #ThankYou #MemorialDay

2024 Tourism Awards Recipients - Governor's Conference
Last night at the 2024 Governor's Conference on Tourism we attended the Gala and the Awards night. Four recipients of Tourism Awards are from the Black Hills and Badlands region!
Winning these awards is such an esteemed honor, and we couldn't be more proud of the work these individuals and businesses put in to make our visitors feel seen, heard, loved, and appreciated.
Congratulations to the staff of Black Hills Adventure Tours, the Haunting of Keystone, Spearfish Canyon Lodge, and Lucille Holsether for their awards! We are so proud of you😊
If you weren't able to make it out to the conference this year, here is a small snippet of the electric atmosphere:
There's no better way to celebrate South Dakota's birthday than to explore what the state (and the Black Hills, wink-wink) has to offer from the pine-clad mountains to the otherworldly landscapes you will always find "Great faces. Great places. in South Dakotaaaa."
