Dear friends, neighbors and valued clients,
First, we would like to thank you all for your continued support. Allez-Vous’ success is a testament to its great clientele and the trust that you have in us.
As we embark on what is predicted to be the busiest travel season on record, we wanted to share some insight and tips to help us get everyone where they need to be with minimal stress and maximum ease.
* COMMUNICATION: Communication is an integral part of each reservation. From the point of booking to final drop off, communication is the key to each successful reservation.
- Please do not book your reservation using your house phone number. The phone number that we need to ensure that your driver can effectively communicate (via call and/or text) with you on the date(s) of travel is your cell phone.
- Always provide us with your RETURN flight number. Fortunately, we have the ability to track flights so that we can keep up with delays and cancellations. However, this is only possible if we have the correct number. Provide the correct number at the point of booking and rest assured that we will be there when you land.
- Please ensure that your phone is not on “Do Not Disturb” mode. This makes it impossible for the driver to reach you.
* CHILD SAFETY SEATS: Allez-Vous is pleased to be able to provide our clients with complimentary child safety seats. However, to streamline and simplify our process, beginning April 1, 2023, child safety seats are only available in select vehicles. Please note this during the booking process. Any vehicle booked that is not a designated child safety seat vehicle will not have one provided by Allez-Vous
* SUMNER TUNNEL: As many of you know, the Sumner Tunnel has been closing almost every weekend for a planned maintenance project. This has presented many challenges. Times getting to and from the airport are greatly impacted. Starting on July 5, 2023 the Sumner Tunnel will be closed every day until August 31, 2023. In light of this, we will be implementing a temporary surcharge to account for the added time that we will have to spend on each trip. The surcharge will only be in place from 1pm -7pm. We have noted that these are the busiest times when the tunnel is closed.
* AIRPORT/AIRLINES: while travel has bounced back, the airport and airlines have not. Worker shortages have contributed to unusually long delays pertaining to arrivals. It is taking increasingly longer to disembark and retrieve checked baggage. We schedule each booking with enough cushion to accommodate each client; however, sometimes the delays are out of our control. Please have patience with the drivers. Our main goal is to get everyone to their destination.
Thank you again for your patience and continued support.
