After hiking for the magnificient Scarlet Macaw, we had another fun time, tubing down the river.

Kids were great swimmers; I admired their skills and energy. They never got tired of the river. They flipped, they bounced, they jumped and paddled. They had fun speeding on the rapids and swimming in the deep water. What a great day!

So good to have them with us.

We saw dozens of Scarlet Macaws flying over us as we float down the Swasey River.

Includes round-trip transportation from placencia, all equipment, entrance fee, guide fee and lunch.

We leave Placencia at 7 a.m and return by midday.

The tour begins with an hour drive placencia to Red Bank. Red Bank Village is a quaint traditional Mayan community near the Swasey River and surrounded by beautiful mountains. It is separated by 2 habitats - Savanah on the East and rainforest along the river. The lush rainforest consists of high biodiversity of plants and wildlife. One of Belize's most beautiful treasure - the Scarlet Macaw visit Red Bank between December to March to feed on the polewood trees.

The river float will take approximately 2 hours. As we float down the cool and refreshing Swasey River, we will not only feel the adrenaline rush from the rapids, or the soothing relaxation from the deeper water but also the scenic views of the lush rainforest, high mountains, various species of birds and the magnificent SCARLET MACAWS flying over...THIS WILL BE A TOUR THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS!
