The Downtown Fall Festival aims to be a free, family-friendly event designed to celebrate and showcase the rich cultural diversity, local artists, and historic significance of our community. The festival will be held in conjunction with the Redding Cultural District’s October First Friday offerings and will feature a variety of activities including cultural demonstrations, performances, poetry readings, storytelling, music and The Haunted History Tours, facilitated by The Shasta Historical Society.

Did you know the Shasta-Chappie OHV Area has more than 250 miles of roads and trails open to motorcyclists, all-terrain vehicle drivers, and four-wheelers? 🏍️
The area is near the massive Shasta Dam and Shasta Lake, and there are stunning overlooks of the Sacramento River below the dam. Local wildlife species include osprey, bald eagle 🦅, mule deer 🦌, and bear. 🐻
This area was named after former U. S. Congressman Eugene Chappie. The area is partially by the California State Parks OHV program. 🏞️

If you watched the Lake Redding Regatta last weekend and wished you were out there paddling, here's your chance to begin preparing for next year! 💪
Headwaters Adventure Company is hosting a free 3-hour stand-up paddling and strokes course on September 11 from 4-7 PM. They will set up buoys to practice your new skills. 🏄
No SUP? No problem! Headwaters will have rentals available.
Show up when you can! You don't have to get there when it starts.
