🎄✨❄️‘Lights of the Northwoods’ Will Dazzle Visitors 🎄✨❄️
RHINELANDER – Surprise your sweetheart or the kids with a trip to Rhinelander’s Hodag Park for the seventh annual “Lights of the Northwoods” event. The park will be adorned with thousands of Christmas lights and dozens of displays. In addition, there will be concessions and visits with Santa.
The event runs from Dec. 1 to Jan. 1 with nightly light displays from 5-9 p.m. Enjoy the lights with newly added holiday music and warming bonfires along the lakeside walking path, or take the lighted driving path through the impressive tunnel of lights.
For three weekends from 5-8 p.m. (Dec. 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16), take in the activities in the indoor pavilion, including visits with Santa and photos, plus concessions provided by GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club. Outside the pavilion, enjoy the music and a warming bonfire.
The month-long celebration ends on New Year’s Day with a must-see fireworks show at 7 p.m. (Note: This will be on Sunday, Jan. 1, and not New Year’s Eve.) Arrive early for a good parking spot.
Admission is free, but they do collect food and cash donations at the end of the driving path and other park locations.
