The Roost is available for the 2024-2025 duck hunting season. The lease dates are November 1, 2024 - January 31, 2025. Your season rental is all inclusive including electric, gas, trash, water, sewer, high speed WiFi, and a big screen TV w/ Netflix. The Roost has a fully functional kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes. There is a full bathroom with shower, towels, hand towels, wash clothes, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There are lockers for individual toiletries and a tankless continuous water heater for multiple showers. The Roost will sleep 10-12 people, the small bedroom offers bunk beds for sleeping six. The master bedroom offers two queens and two top bunks. There are plug-ins and phone holders for each bed for your use. There is a large storage room for your hunting supplies in The Roost too. Outside amenities include a very large chat area for boats, trucks, and trailers to park, a 20x20 dog kennel w/Igloo dog house and a cleaning station with running water. There is also a charcoal barbeque grill, fire pit, and chairs for your use. There are 3 smoke alarms in the cabin and 3 exterior security cameras for your safety. Two blocks down from The Roost is A & A Grocery & Grill, it is a local family owned convenience store and full service restaurant. You can also order Hunt Brothers pizza from there. The Roost is 11 miles west of Corning, Arkansas. Pocahontas, Arkansas is the nearest large town with many restaurants and shopping options, it is 15 miles southwest. The Roost is less than a mile from boat access to the Current River. The Black River has 3 boat access ramps within 3 miles of The Roost. The Black Rivers flows through the Dave Donaldson Wildlife Management Area. The Roost is 3 miles from the Dave Donalsson WMA. Dave Donaldson Black River Wildlife Management Area is a 27,000 acre WMA in Clay, Greene, and Randolph Counties. Message me for more information.
