Thoughts on Frontier Airlines?

My first experience was nearly 15 years ago from Santa Ana. Everything was easy peasy.

I decided to enroll in the Discount Den. This membership offers discounted rates and on applicable dates, kids fly free. This is important to note, only on certain days do kids fly free.

Everything is a la carte. This is where the low fare can skyrocket. You pay for seat selection, carry on bags, checked bags, service at check-in, etc. as long as you’re aware and plan accordingly, this may still be the lowest cost option.

There was a direct fly from my closest airport so I was willing to give it a go. The price was the lowest even with 2 of the added fees.

Strollers, car seats and diaper bags don’t count towards your carry on or checked bags, which aligns with other carriers.

If you do check a bag, the weight limit is 40 lbs.

The staff was nice and the seats were fine. I didn’t notice a big difference in space.

Ontario airport tips:
1. ALWAYS arrive early in case of any unexpected occurrences.
2. Parking lot 5 is closed. You would now use parking lot 6 for the ‘discounted’ parking.
3. Shuttle service DOES NOT enter parking lot 6. The pickup location is the ‘house/bus stop’ on the street in front of parking lot 6.
4. We have lounges! Aspire lounge opened in Terminals 2 and 4 May 2023.

Sesame Place San Diego -
My honest opinion ➡️ This place is OVERPRICED.

Parking is expensive and children over age 2 pay adult price, though they’re not tall enough for some of the rides.

The park is small. We didn’t visit the water slides (it’s cold) so there were only 3-4 rides for us. We arrived at 2 and were bored by 4. The parade started at 4 so we watched and left shortly afterwards.

Older kids may love it for the water park alone. They could play in water all day.

There are no healthy food options besides a side salad. They have fried food and highly processed food only.

My recommendation is to plan a week or weekend of activities e.g. zoo, sea world, Lego land, etc. to make the best of your time in the area.

P.S. the Philadelphia park, I hear, is bigger and better 🤷🏾‍♀️
