Jim and Rhonda stuck it out through the tough bite today and managed to bring home some groceries for dinner. We were watching the redfish cruise the creeks in schools of 8-10 but would not eat. Finally fooled a few to eat some mud minnows. All made it home safely other than a Penn rod that broke in half by a 4’ ray. Give me a call to book an inshore fishing day 912-560-5551.

Marcus and son Kieth had a really good day today. There was a small chance of rain this morning and it did sprinkle a little bit but when you’re catching fish that kind of stuff doesn’t bother you 😆. Matt, Jennifer and Stone came down to the coast for New Years and wanted to get on some reds. The 35 degree air and 55 degree water temp slowed the bite down a little but it was steady all morning. The big pigs were out in full force too!

Vaughn and Lisa put a hurting on the redfish this morning. Caught 30 or more in a short time and a good mess of trout. Mud minnows were irresistible to the reds and trout today. Give me call to set up fishing trip!

Tony and Loy come down to shoot birds at Dorchester Shooting Preserve and catch some fish. Conditions were nowhere near ideal this afternoon but we gave it a shot and it paid off. Tony caught a stud trout and they both caught plenty of fish for a good fish fry. It’s cold but the fish are biting, give me a call to book your trip 🎣 is on 🔥!

Brennan and Jase put the smack down on the reds this morning in the rain! Only tricked one trout into biting. These 2 were too big for my boat so they had to get out and limit out on the reds. That’s some fun fishing!

Morgan and Cameron caught a good mess of fish this morning. Had to move around and cover some ground but we finally found them. The wind hasn’t let up the past week. Let’s hope it gets better with these falling tides.

Chris, Susie, Steve and Clint caught a few reds today. Managed a couple small trout but the muddy water made it tough to find trout. We all had a good time. Until next time guys.

Christian and Keith came to surprise their old Army buddy David for Veterans Day. Christian wanted to take them out fishing and I’m glad they did. They all landed a bunch of over slot redfish and kept 10 slots and 7 nice trout for a few fish fry’s. Let me tell y’all a little secret, fall/winter is the best time of year to inshore fish. Morgan and his son Garrett found a few overslot reds and managed to keep a few for the grease! Most of the day we were seeing redfish and they wouldn’t eat, then like a light they turned on. If I could figure out how to make them eat I could retire. Call Big Red if you want to catch some big reds!

We fished a morning trip and afternoon trip today for Dorchester Shooting Preserve. The morning trip was tough with the muddy outgoing tide but managed to pull in a few good ones. The afternoon trip started at the beginning of incoming tide and we found some cleaner water. Nancy, Stephanie and Witt found a school of reds and had a blast. It was a fun day and hopefully we can link up next year on your trip down.

Had to stick and move today but we ended up with a nice cooler full of fish. We had to w**d through a gob of pinfish but we slowly caught 2-3 nice fish at every drop. Nothing better than fall fishing. Don’t miss out on it, book your trip now!

Len and Amanda from NE Georgia came down to Savannah on a last minute vacation and they ended it by getting into some good inshore action! The reds didn’t want to cooperate but Len did manage to land this beautiful upper slot red. We switched gears and on our first drop found a thick school of speckled trout. We caught 25 or more in less than an hour and kept 12 to bring back home to North Georgia!
