DP HILL & Associates was formed in 1988 as a consulting design engineering company doing business with fortune 500 companies around the globe. It's main share holder David Hill has been in the engineering field since February 1968 and began working with ordinance companies doing Precision Gage design and manufacture. He later moved into the Aerospace Industry doing tool and fixture design before moving to the Chemical and Textile Industry. In 1976 he assisted the construction startup of a food facility to manufacture potato chips. In the early 80's David became involved with the startup and development of feminine hygiene napkin manufacturing and equipment for a major paper products manufacture.

In 1988 DP HILL & Associates was formed to provide design engineering services to local industries in Eastern North Carolina. In 1994 DP Hill & Associates was incorporated as DP HILL, Inc.

Since 1994 DP HILL & Associates has successfully supported local industries to provide design and build services for equipment used in the manufacture of their products.

Our shop is centrally located in a country setting in Eastern North Carolina. We have access to all major suppliers and shipping companies in the U.S. We are presently working with product development engineers in North and South America to produce items that will be integrated into the commercial market in their respective areas.

We have over 35 years of engineering experience in the tooling, process, manufacturing, and machine design areas.

We have over 10 years experience in the machine manufacturing and machining process of metal components.

Our consultant teams have unlimited experience in the manufacturing and quality control areas of product development. They have successfully patented products in the commercial market place.
