Coffee is having a renaissance in , and we. are. here for it. With that comes an influx of freshly roasted beans, a wide variety of flavors, and quaint coffee shops in which to sit and enjoy a cuppa. Frankly, don’t talk to us before we’ve had our first cup. That said, we wanted to share our 10 favorite coffee shops in ! Today is Wednesday, which is Thursday Jr., which means we're basically at the weekend, which means we want to talk about wine.

An often-mentioned favorite stop on our Church Hill Food Tour is Second Bottle Wine, where guests get to try 2 different wines and learn about the incredible vineyards behind said wines from either Erin or Garrett.

But while the wine is special (and usually can't be found at big box stores), the most unique feature of Second Bottle is a handwritten tag on each bottle, showcasing a flavor profile or what type of food would go best with the bottle. It's the perfect wine shop for everyone, even those of us who shop by the label (and really, there's no shame in that!)

Between the Richmond Mural Project and commissioned works by local artists, it really feels like every city block in is adorned with a larger-than-life work of art! And we wouldn’t have it any other way, tbh.
