When a life-threatening medical emergency occurred with a student on his school bus, Adrian jumped into action, alerting the driver. Deputy Brown’s watchful eye on the bus and quick thinking with chest compressions and a call for emergency services saved the student’s life.

While they aim to identify her and bring closure to her family, current Virginia law prevents the reburial of unidentified remains. LCSO is working with the County Chair to push for a legislative change to ensure a respectful reburial in such cases.
