River City Art and Antiques Celebrates Signing Nationally Recognized Artist
Local Art and Antiques Firm Nabs Coveted Role as Nancy Jacey’s Exclusive Agent

Richmond, VA: Today, River City Art and Antiques, a brokerage of fine and decorative arts, announced the signing of local artist of national renown, Ms. Nancy Jacey.

Nancy is a graduate of both Virginia Tech and the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. While capable of a wide range of methods and subjects, Nancy’s most recognizable works come in the form of Prismacolor “paintings.” While her media doesn’t actually include traditional forms of paint, the Prismacolor pencils that she utilizes allow her to create and cultivate visually stunning, photorealistic works of art, which allow her to capture light in ways that more traditional formats generally do not. Recently juried into the Colored Pencil Society of America, selected by R. Lynn Whitelaw, she is a rising star on both the regional and national stages.

Of the recent agreement, River City Art and Antiques Founder and CEO, Scott Behler, said, “I am deeply excited about this agreement. I’ve known of Nancy’s talents for at least a year and am excited to finally begin our professional relationship in earnest after outside circumstances initially prevented it. I think I speak for both Nancy and River City Art and Antiques when I say that this was a question not necessarily of if, but when. I expect this to be a mutually beneficial relationship, and am excited for our future.”

Nancy Jacey expressed her excitement as well, saying, “Without hesitation, I can say that this is a huge step in the right direction for me. I am extremely excited to be entering into this agreement with River City Art and Antiques. I am proud to have Scott Behler as my exclusive agent, and I firmly believe that his representation will guide my artwork in the direction that I have been seeking so eagerly. I look forward to a bright and successful future and to the many opportunities that will arise from this mutually beneficial business relationship.”
