Summit Lake is a lake that is near and dear to all Richwooders.
Beautiful all year round and barely a half-hour drive from town, it offers a great day of fishing and kayaking, with a trail that goes around the lake for a leisurely stroll.

The first annual Richwood Art Walk is coming this fall!

Currently looking for artists who are interested in showing their work on Main Street, and inviting everyone to visit Richwood and enjoy the town and the beautiful colors of the fall season, in addition to viewing a curated selection of fine art from vendors, a collection of art from area artists at the Mountain Colors Art Show at City Hall, and an exhibition from a private collection of Richard Gayle Surface art at the Lawrenson gallery!

Camp Splinter on Easter Sunday. The water was beautiful and the ephemeral flowers are out to feed the pollinators until the rest of the blooms come out in the coming weeks.

This past weekend was made for lovers of snow. We took the opportunity to go check out Hills Creek Falls, just 18 scenic miles from Richwood.
The forest amazed and the falls dazzled both the eyes and the heart.
