HOW DO YOU “DO IT ALL” WITHOUT BEING OVERWHELMED?

When you are planning your first (or maybe even your 10th!) trip to Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando Resort, the idea of trying to “do it all” can really suck the joy out of planning your vacation.

Here’s the thing - you don’t have to do it all! You should do what is enjoyable for YOU and YOUR family, not what everyone tells you you must do.

When your kids are younger, that may mean a bunch of character meals, meeting characters all around the parks, stroller naps and no fancy meals. When your kids are older that may mean no character meals, allllll the roller coasters, more days at Universal Orlando Resort and late night dinners at the Yacht Club steakhouse.

Good news is - it is YOUR vacation, you get to choose! You get to decide what is on your bucket list.

SHOULD YOU JUST BOOK ONLINE YOURSELF? I know what it's like to be in your shoes – to have to be smart with your travel budget and make sure your dollar stretches as far as it can. So in your shoes, it'd be natural to ask if you'd be better off just booking online yourself. Here's why I DO NOT recommend going this route:

A knowledgeable travel agent knows about the items that can take your trip from good to AMAZING, while working within your budget!

I just completed even more in-depth training about the Universal Orlando Resort to add to what I learned personally on my most recent trip, and there are some really exciting things you can enjoy if you take the time to learn about these parks and their hotel options.

I'm only telling you this because I've made this mistake before in the past... and I don't think you need to relive it. What are your thoughts here – do you prefer to simply book online and how’s that worked out for you?

THIS IS ALWAYS A FUN GAME TO PLAY. Let's get to know each other better, shall we? I always love to know people’s favorite Disney franchise! Are you Star Wars, Pixar, Marvel or maybe Old School (Cinderella or Snow White) is more your speed? Let me know in a comment below what your favorites are! For me, I kind of love it all, but Star Wars grabbed a special place in my heart since having Max and watching my husband share it with him. I just finished a BIG WEEK! I completed my formal training with Disney's College of Knowledge. This coursework provides an in-depth look at servicing all Disney destinations, including Disneyland® Resort, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney® and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

I know a lot of you already know you want to go to Walt Disney World® Resort.
