Just a reminder, we are coming into the home stretch with our toy drive for the children of rural western NC! We have thirteen donation drop off locations (SEE BELOW) in the Wilmington, Southport and Columbus County areas as well as the option for monetary donations. One of the churches we are working with is in one of the hardest hit areas, Burnsville/Green Mountain. There are families living in tents, sheds, partially destroyed homes or homes with little damage. Some of these families have lost thier vehicles, places of business, places of employment...and family members. Please help us save Christmas for some of these families. New unwrapped toys/games, wrapping paper or monetary donations that will be used to purchase toys, are all accepted. We will be delivering these toys the weekend of December 14th-15th.

We currently have drop off locations in Wilmington at : Nest Realty (Mayfaire and Hempstead) Kimbrells Furniture, Cody's South, Salters Speed Shop. In Brunswick county at: Southport Christian School, and Sunny Point Military Ocean Terminal. In Columbus county at : Dales Seafood, CrossFit LKW, Pierce and Co store, Countyline Preschool and Cape Fearless Extreme. Monetary donations can be made via credit card using the QR code below.

Cape Fearless Extreme is co-hosting a toy drive for the children of rural Western NC.

We have personally been to these areas going door to door where people could not get out because their driveways, roads and bridges were washed away or their cars were buried in mud or flooded and not drivable. We have gone to small churches bringing supplies along with special medicines and specialty formulas and have told those people and the churches that we would be back to help bring Christmas to the children whose parents could not get to the big donation centers. So many of the donations are hitting the bigger city areas like Asheville and Boone that the smaller towns are being neglected.

We want all of those children to still believe in magic, miracles and Santa Claus after all of the horror they have been through.
We will be collecting New Unwrapped Toys/Gifts for children of ALL ages along with wrapping paper and tape and we, along with some friends, will personally be delivering them to families in need.

You can also go to Capefearless.com and donate via the book now button. Just choose Dec 25th as the date and you can "book" a donation in increments of $10.00 to be used for toys. As always, we greatly appreciate the generosity for Western North Carolina!

we are extremely grateful for all of the donated items and funds that have come in (and continue to come in) for our next trip out to Western North Carolina. As always, the needs list is a constantly changing thing. Aside from what I currently have received, blankets are no longer needed. The current list:

Propane Heaters
Propane 1lb and larger tanks (full please)
Adapter hoses/fuel filter to use larger sized tanks on buddy heaters
Sleeping bags
Camp Stoves (Propane NOT Butane)
Dehumidifiers
DAMP RID (!!!)
Fans
2 in 1 co2/smoke detectors

Please folks, this is FAR from over for the people affected! I know some of you are tired of seeing these posts or hearing about it, but the need is still very real!

If you have any of the needed items to donate or if you would like to contribute financially, every little bit helps! Financial donations go directly toward heaters and fuel for them, so far we were able to drop ship 18 heaters with adapter hoses/fuel filters, and we have more that we'll be taking with us.

Please have all donations to us no later than noon on Saturday Nov 2nd please!
