FORAGING TEXAS PERSIMMONS!!
Thru Hill Country Adventures & Nature Center, on Indian Blanket Ranch!
Walk the trails with your wagon & buckets picking berries.
$20 per person for up to 1-5 gallon bucket full.
Want more than 5 gallons, add $5 for each additional 5 gallons.

This morning early a woman harvested 6 gallons, picking them one by one all by herself.
She said they had a beautiful, unexpected smell that she loved & the taste is so delicate!
She is going to make Persimmon Wine & plans to return in a week or two to pick more.

Make Persimmon Jelly/Jam, Breads, Cobblers & Wine!
You can find Texas Persimmon recipes online.
We have lots of Ripe Persimmons & lots of green berries that ripen fast, picking is good thru Sept. & Oct.

Locals & guests at other Lodgings in area come pick for a fee.
