Twice a year, we cross the Potomac to see our many Virginia friends. October is here, and we're ready to go!
Saturday, October 5th, Art on the Avenue in Del Ray (Alexandria).
Saturday, October 12th, City of Fairfax Fall Festival in Old Fairfax.

Both Sundays, we'll be at our regularly scheduled Greenbelt Farmers Market - never fear!

Greenbelt Farmers Market , I'm sorry to miss the market on Sunday (Sept. 29th). With the forecast indicating it could be a very humid, dark and damp day with some rain, the risk to my products is higher than I can afford to take. We look forward to better weather next week, and hope to see you then!

Despite the rain in tomorrow's forecast we are planning to be at Greenbelt Farmers Market tomorrow, Sunday, September 22nd. If the forecast looks much worse in the morning and we are unable to attend, we'll post it here by 8am in the morning.

As a reminder, Greenbelt Farmers Market, we will be at the Takoma Park Folk Festival (TPFF) tomorrow (Sunday, September 8th) and not at Greenbelt. We'll see you all next week.

Looking forward to seeing our Takoma Park and folkie friends tomorrow! (The festival is at the Takoma Park Middle School - Look for us indoors in the gym! Hours are 10:30 - 6:30)

I'll be at Riverdale Park Farmers Market tomorrow (Thursday) - making up for the missed market last week due to weather. Tomorrow looks to be beautiful. See you there 3-7, by the MARC train station.

Mystic Water Soap has a double-header this weekend: Saturday you'll find me between 8 am and 2 pm at DeMatha High School in Hyattsville MD, and then Sunday it'll be "same time, same station", Greenbelt Farmers Market 10-2. See you there!

Sorry, friends. As the saying goes, "it's not the heat, it's the humidity." Humidity levels like we're having today are potentially harmful for my products. Add to that the possibility of wind and rain from Tropical Storm Debby - With apologies - I won't be at the Riverdale Park Farmers Market this afternoon. I very much hope to see you in two weeks! (If you need something sooner than that you can order online (or just email me with your order) and we will deliver - free to zip code 20737, $3 delivery to Hyattsville, College Park, Greenbelt and adjacent areas.)

Greenbelt Farmers Market friends, we will make every effort to be at the market tomorrow, especially after missing last week. We're facing both heat and humidity *and* the possibility of rain tomorrow. We're loading the car now, and hope to see you tomorrow. Friends, given the heat, heat index, and humidity, we regrettably will not be at Greenbelt Farmers Market on Sunday (June 23rd).Nearly all of my products are vulnerable to the heat. We are already looking forward to being back next week! Thank you fir your understanding.

Countdown is on to the Greenbelt Sparkle Mart (Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair) this weekend. If you've never been, this really is an amazing event that I look forward to every year. Here are some details about the event - the live music is lots of fun if you can plan to be there for that. SPARKLE MART: Greenbelt's Juried Art and Craft Fair

Ceramics, wood working, fiber arts, metalwork, art glass, paintings, photography, books, toys and more, plus Greenbelt Museum merchandise. Part of Greenbelt's Winter Lights Festival.

Live music: while you shop, enjoy French jazz with the Hot Club of DC (Saturday, 1-3pm) and klezmer with Seth Kibel and Friends (Sunday, 2:30-4pm). Performances will take place on the gym stage.

Greenbelt Farmers Market, we missed you last week. We are back for the final three markets of the year (!!!) so we'll see you November 5th, 12th, and 19th, same time (10 - 2), same station (parking lot between the New Deal Cafe and the Community Center).
