THE RCOC IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE NEW BOARD MEMBER - STEVE AMARAL. Steve, owner and Executive Chef of North Fork Chocolate Company Riverhead , along with his partner Anne Corley, started their business at the Stony Brook University Food Business Incubator in 2012 and have grown it to two locations: one on the Main Road in Mattituck (8700 Main Road, Mattituck, 631-779-2963), and one on East Main Street in Riverhead (309 East Main St., Riverhead, 631-599-4944). Both shops carry handmade chocolate, organic coffee and homemade Belgian waffles and ice cream. The Riverhead location also houses a cafe serving a plant-based seasonal menu with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
"Steve brings a wealth of experience in business and a real passion to see Riverhead thrive and flourish", said President Connie Lassandro. "He is a welcome addition to our Board and we look forward to working with him and utilizing his expertise to stregnthen and advocate for this community."
