🏰Guest Spotlight The "W” Family-🏰

This wonderful family just got back from Disney World. They stayed at my FAVORITE value resort, Disney's Art of Animation- the theme is the absolute best and you truly feel like you are in the Disney bubble from the minute to check in until the day you leave.

The AOA Little Mermaid room was small but perfect for our family. Our 5 year old adores Ariel and it truly was the most perfect resort for this season of our life! Having the sky-liner was incredible for Hollywood studios as well! Our lunch at Hollywood and Vine with all the characters were perfect, along with our magical lunch in the castle with the princesses! Truly magical. BBB made "G's" dreams come true and it was worth every single penny!!! I will do that for the girls again when we go back, for sure! During the parade, she was treated a little extra special by just about everyone - I will keep that in mind for our return trip!! The Christmas party was great but it was a lot on the travel day as you told me it would be 🙂! It still worked out just fine - but I would have our travel day where we just travel in and spend the time at the resort!

🏴‍☠️50 years ago today Pirates of the Caribbean opened in Disney World.

☠️Although this ride has NO height requirements, it’s a dark ride with a small drop that can scare some younger children.

🏴‍☠️Some fun facts about Pirates of the Caribbean…

☠️Walt Disney planned for this to be a walk-through wax museum.

🎃During Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, live actors will be inside of the ride.

🕺🏻20 years ago today Disney's Pop Century Resort opened!

🏰I have stayed at this fun, budget friendly resort twice over the last three years.

🥔The theme of this resort is amazing! I am an 80's baby so seeing the larger than life Big Wheels car, Mickey Mouse Telephone, rubix cubes, Mr. Potato Head, and Fooseball Field brings back great memories!

🎉Some Fun Facts....

🎳You may see 9 HUGE bowling pins around the property (often the staircases are behind them) but where is the 10th pin? It's the bowling pool located in the 50's section.

🎶Do "The Twist" at 8AM in the food court area and "The Hustle" at 6 PM.

🚠This is one of the 4 skyliner resorts (cheapest of all of them). Love how you can be dropped off in front of Epcot and Hollywood Studios!

5️⃣There are 5 different sections in the resort, 50's, 60's , 70's, 80's, and 90's.

🌸Disney's Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts were originally meant to be one.

This ⬇️ is like a proud mom moment. When you get a text from friends at 6:01 AM Chicago time that they booked Slinky Dog for 11:45 am and Rise for 9:45 AM so they then can rope drop Tower of Terror and Rock’n’ Roller Coaster 💕

Kind of helps that one of them did Disney with me for 5 days this summer 🤷‍♀️

Did you know Disney characters can’t be the first to let go of a hug?

This was the first hug we got from Mickey back in April 2022 after Disney lifted the character restrictions! We were there the FIRST day hugs were back!

🏰I often get asked, what are the best parks to visit with toddlers.

🙌🏼Hands down, MAGIC KINGDOM!
There is so much to do in this park, you can easily spend 2 days here.

🎪Magic Kingdom has the best toddler friendly attractions, shows, and parades.

🚂There are over 25 attractions with no height requirement and TONS of Disney characters and princesses to meet.

🎉If my clients ask, I send them a list of pros and cons for each of the parks to help them make the decision of how many park days they want and which parks they would like to go to.

🌟Disney Tip🌟

❓Did you know you can view the characters locations on your MyDisneyExperience app?

🗺️Click the map button on the bottom of the app. From there you will see a drop down menu that says wait times. Click the down arrow and select characters.

Mickey heads will pop up all over the map. When you select one of the heads, it will tell you the character that is located in that spot as well as the times they are there.

One of my favorite places to grab a small bite to eat and something refreshing to drink is Baseline Tap in Hollywood Studios.

This is a must do on every trip to Disney at least once while I’m there. I love the sampler of beers you can order, Bavarian Pretzel with Beer-Cheese Fondue and Spicy Mustard, and the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate.

🏆Epcot may have more meet and greets than any other Disney Park!

👑You can meet more princesses in Epcot then in the Magic Kingdom! The World Showcase is FILLED with the Disney princesses. You can find Anna & Elsa in Norway, Mulan is in China, Snow White is in Germany, Belle and Aurora are in France, Jasmine is in Morocco, and Moana is the the brand new Journey of Water.

🎉You can also find Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Asha, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Figment, Winnie the Pooh, and Joy throughout the parks as well.

💻Finished my College of Disney Knowledge certification for 2024, I remember the first time I took this almost 8 years ago it took me 6 hours to complete. I can now do it 15 minutes!

🎉Just helped a former client book another Disney World vacation for Thanksgiving 2024. Last time they stayed at Disney's Beach Club Resort and loved it so much they wanted to stay there again.

👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👧‍👧Since they are a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) Disney will guarantee them connecting rooms. I made mom lead guest on one room and dad on the other. I split up the 4 kids between the rooms. I can put both rooms on 1 reservation, which means only 1 $200 REFUNDABLE deposit is due.

What's not to love about Disney's Beach Club?

💦Most popular pool on Disney property, Storm Along Bay. Storm Along Bay has a lazy river, sand bottom pool, pirate ship slide, and so much more.

⌚️Time is Money at Disney World!

🫧Staying in the Disney BUBBLE can save you both time & money!

🚝Stayin on-site means you never have to leave the MAGIC. Complimentary transportation and parking, extra hours in the parks, characters roaming the resorts, unbelievable restaurants, lavishly themed pools, and so much more.

🅿️Staying off-site means you're driving to the parks each day and paying for parking OR you're using a shuttle from the hotel and are at the mercy of their timing. Non Disney Resort shuttles only run a few times a day, and they are not as close to the Disney parks so it takes longer to get there. Plus, many of the non Disney resorts charge to park at the resort as well.

🎟️Guests staying on Disney property get into the parks 30 minutes ahead of those who are off property and on select nights deluxe resort guests get up to two hours to stay after the parks close. The 30 minutes doesn't seem like a lot in the morning, however you will be able to ride at least one popular attraction and be in line for a second one before the park officially opens. We were able to take advantage of the deluxe resort guest hours this summer and the parks were empty. We never waited more than 15 or 20 minutes for any ride!

🚠Disney transportation is so easy to use and it's FREE! I never wait more than 15-20 minutes for a bus to get to the parks. The skyliner is constantly running, and the monorail usually has at least 3 or 4 different trains on the track leaving wait time to a minimal.

NOW is the time to start planning your 2024 Disney or Universal vacation. The closer you get, the more expensive rooms will be as they fill up. Love when clients come back and book with me again for a second or third time. Last year, I helped this family of 10 plan a MAGICAL Disney vacation. This year, mom took two of the girls to celebrate the Christmas season.

They stayed at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. If you haven't had the beignets here, then you are missing out. I love this moderate level resort because it's smaller in size compared to other Disney resorts. There is only one bus stop, and the walk isn't long by any means.

⏰I had to book dining for 2 different families at 5 AM this morning for their upcoming trip to Disney World in January. One was a party of 10 and the other was a party of 2 (anniversary trip).

🦓 Here are some tips on how to make the most of your Animal Kingdom Day.

🎢 Here are the attractions I hit first thing in the morning. Most people run to Flight of Passage, I head to Expedition Everest. I usually ride it 2-3 times before the park opens for guests not staying on property.
*Ride Expedition Everest
* Head to Kilimanjaro Safari (animals are most active first thing)
* Head to Dinosaur
* Can stop at Triceratops before or after Dinosaur
*Meet Moana

🦁In the afternoon I like to enjoy the sit down down shows, a sit down lunch, and the animal trails. These is when you can get out of the heat or the rain (in the summer it tends to rain in the afternoon)

*Festival of the Lion King is an absolute must for me!
*Finding Nemo
*Gorilla Falls you can view many animals
*It's Tough to be a Bug (not good for people who are scared of bugs)
*Take the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki’s Planet and learn to draw some favorite Disney characters

🌸In the evening I finish up with...
*Meeting Mickey & Minnie at Adventurers Outpost
*Ride Navi River Journey
* Experience Flight of Passage (shortest wait time is at the end of the day)
*The World of Pandora is super cool at night when the sun sets, unfortunately this only happens late fall or in the winter.

🦒One of the coolest experiences I've ever done in Disney was the Wild African Trek Experience. This is a separate cost from entering the theme park and is highly recommended to be booked 60 days before arrival. This is a three hour private tour that takes you across a rope bridge over crocodiles and rhinos, you get to feed the hippos, and see all the beautiful animals on the safari. You also receive African inspired snacks. Guests must be at least 8 years old. Cost is around $219 per person plus tax.

🚢My favorite is the Arendelle Frozen Dining Adventure on the Disney Wish. We joined Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf for a party to melt for. As an honored Guest, you are seated at a dining table situated around a center stage, where you can enjoy all the theatrical bells and whistles needed to bring the Frozen story to life in 360-degree glory. This is included on the Disney Wish.

🧺My daughter and I experienced Olaf's Royal Picnic on the Disney Wish in January. This one is an extra cost and sells out on every Disney Wish Cruise as soon as it opens. Cost is $220 for children and $69 for adults. My daughter walked away with a Olaf hat, cinch bag, mandolin, troll plush, water bottle, picnic blanket, troll necklace, and activity book. We also had a framed picture left in our stateroom from this experience.

Michigan Ave) on Saturday morning with free family-friendly activities and live music that continues throughout the day. 🚂Come take a ride with me on Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. This fun family ride is located at Hollywood Studios in Disney World and Disneyland Park in Disneyland. 🛤️There are 4 train cars with 2 rows in each car. Each row fits 3-5 guests. This is a trackless vehicle. Kind of amazing to see how it works. The ride lasts about five minutes and there is no height requirement. 🌪️What could go wrong when Conductor Goofy is in charge? Immediately, Goofy loses his passengers. You will survive a tornado, go over a waterfall, and narrowly escape The Smasher. 🩰My favorite scene is Daisy's Dance Studio. What’s your favorite part of Happiky Ever After? Mine is when Tinkerbelle flys from the top of the castle! She is my absolute favorite and gives me chills no matter how many times I see it. Every show I watch, I hope she will fly that night. It’s up to her whether or not she wants to do it. It’s all based on the weather. If it’s too windy she may not fly.
