Did you know.... On January 9, 1987 Star Tours opened in Disneyland?? A simulator ride based on the Star Wars movies by George Lucas, it is the park's first attraction not to use Disney-designed imagery.

Of all the new technology and innoventions, Star Tours still remains a popular ride and happens to be my daughter's favorite of the Star Wars attractions! We make sure to ride multiple times per trip! Lauren is still trying to grab the elusive Rebel Spy even after all these years!

Take a trip that is out of this Galaxy and visit Walt Disney World or Disneyland this summer! Lots of great promotions are dropping!

As we close out the 2024 year, I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your support and encouragement this year!

Being invited to join Ticket-To-Ride, INC this year was such an exciting opportunity for me! For so long I have dreamed of helping others plan their Disney Vacations and this May I was given that opportunity! Flying out to Chicago to meet with some of the TTR members was just what I needed to really spark my fire!

Then there are all of you! Booking my first vacation for a dear friend was such an absolute honor (and I am invading their upcoming trip)! Then so many of you reached out and let me help plan your dream vacation! I am so honored and humbled by all of you and your trust in my abilities!

I woke up this morning to find some exciting news in my inbox! Disney is bringing back the free dining plan! Starting on January 2, I can look into booking a Disney vacation that will include free dining!

Here are the details that I have:
💥From Jan. 2 to Feb. 10, 2025, you can get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 3-night, 3-day (at minimum) Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and a ticket with a Park Hopper option.

Just booked a Disney Cruise for a family traveling in 2025! They took advantage of a VGT category!

A VGT cruise is a Disney Cruise Line sailing that offers a guaranteed Verandah Stateroom with Restrictions. You'll be assigned a specific stateroom based on availability at a later time. The stateroom may have a whitewall verandah and can accommodate up to four guests.

VGT rates are only valid for new bookings, and full payment is required at the time of booking, but they can save you some definite money!

When I saw this pop up in my email today, I almost squealed out loud! How exciting to see all the events coming in 2025 for Disneyland!!!

I was already excited to head out to Disneyland this June, but then to see that they will be celebrating the 70th Birthday made it that much better! Look at that castle! This will just add to the excitement and anticipation!

Let me take a moment to welcome you to Tricia”s Tangled Travel with Ticket-To-Ride, Inc! I am a true vacation enthusiast with a special love of Disney!

For as long as I can remember, Disney has always been my very favorite vacation! Even though I visit often, no two trips are ever the same! I decided to take my passion for Disney and share it with all those who dream of having a true and magical Disney Experience! Every trip, I make it a goal to experience something new because it helps me to be the best planner for you and your families!

Outside of planning vacations, you will find me teaching mathematics to eighth grade students! I have been enjoying the experience of being a teacher for over 25 years now. Each year, day and sometimes minute are an adventure of their own!

At home, I’m surrounded by my loving family. My daughter is my trip partner who is always up for an adventure! My husband has been a wonderful supporter of my Disney addiction (even when he has to stay home to work). Our dog, Sally (named for Sally Slater of the Haunted Mansion) does not enjoy that we disappear often for getaways. My mom and sister are also perfect travel partners and some of my biggest cheerleaders!

During 2024, I was invited by Ticket-To-Ride, Inc. to join the team of Disney Planners! I have loved every minute of learning, planning and prepping vacations for many families! It is a pleasure and an honor that so many people have trusted me to help them create magical memories!

"Do you hear that? It's the winds of change."~ Randall

Guests should get ready to open the door because Mike and Sulley are coming to town! Humans will be able to enter the world of Monsters, Inc. when it is added to the south side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new land will include the coaster we’ve all dreamed of – a suspended ride recreating the door vault scene – plus dining and shopping and a whole new theater show. To make way for the monsters, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and more of their friends will be moving right along to Sunset Boulevard! The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, teaming up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival!

I am so excited for all of the changes coming to Walt Disney World and yet the nostalgia of what we are saying goodbye to hits too! But as Walt said, "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."

On Saturday night, we attended the Jollywood Night party at Hollywood Studios. After last year, I was a little worried about how the night would turn out. To be honest, it was just magical!

There were so many character meet and greets! Some that are so rare! I’m talking Santa Duffy!!! The wait times for rides were minimal(with the exception of Slinky Dog, that stayed about 50 minutes most of the night.) Most other attractions were about a 10 minute wait!

The food and beverages were crazy! So many things to try! We sampled a few, but there was so much, we would have spent the whole night just eating!

In addition, there were several shows that are exclusive to the party! My favorite is the Nightmare Before Christmas song-a-long!

So much to see! So much to do! I can’t wait to do it again next year!
