On January 13, 1987 the Associated Students Program Board Constitution and By-laws were ratified. Since then ASPB has been providing quality campus entertainment for the UC Riverside campus. Through the divisions of Concerts, Films & Lectures, Special Events, Cultural Events, and Marketing, ASPB has provided current musical acts, social issues, art and trends of the time. All of the events put on

by ASPB are student-conceptualized, student-produced, and student-run. There are 19 board members who work through out summer and the academic year to bring the students of UC Riverside a variety of events for them to enjoy throughout the year. This year’s Social Justice Symposium, Life on Cam with Mai Pham, is on March 4th 2025 from 6:30pm-8pm at HUB 302! 💗

Mai Pham is an innovative 22 year old businesswoman and content creator who since the start of her career, has built a strong and powerful community of over 5 million Phamily members. From starting her own clothing brand, Alchemai, to being active and posting content on social media since 2010, Mai Pham is committed to inspiring change, authenticity, and growth. Growing up in Alberta, Canada with her Vietnamese immigrant parents, Mai has worked hard to embrace her roots and empower the AAPI community. Whether she’s vlogging her life in NYC, or designing and putting out pieces for her clothing brand, Mai’s authenticity and passion emerges through her work! 🌸

A MINOR set can lead to a A MAJOR victory—one thing’s for certain, SoundClash’s vibes will always B SHARP! WEDNESDAY Feburary 19th is SoundClash 2025 ⛓️🎤 Featuring BadSkin, SingerNausicaa, Tailgate ‘87, GudIntentions, and TMF!

⛓️BadSkin is a five-piece band if musicians with skin conditions who specialize in funk, indie, and Classic rock.

⛓️Nausicaa Wong, a San Francisco-born logo and chill lil artist, discovered her love for music at age 5. She graduated from the renowned Ruth Asawa Arts School, specializing in vocals. Nausicaa has since release an EP and collaborated with global artists, showcasing her unique musical talent.

⛓️Tailgate ‘87 is an IE based post hardcore band formed in 2023. Their material fuses Melodic Emo, Hardcore, and dance punk. A stylistically elusive group, the band is capable of 7 minute psychedelic drones and catchy loud rock with nods to Fugazi, System of a Down, Title Fight and Boris.

⛓️GudIntentions was formed in the Moreno Valley area in 2020, and have a deep appreciate for all genres of music. Since then they have performed twice at the House of Blues in Anaheim and released a single “Sip Away” on Spotify and Apple Music.

⛓️TMF is just a group of friends who coincidentally found out that they all can play instruments and have a passion for music!
