What image comes to mind when you think of Greece? It is likely the picturesque island of Santorini. This Greek Island in the Aegean Sea is known for its famous whitewashed buildings with bright blue rooftops. It is a popular destination for romance travel, with its remarkable sunsets in Oia, beautifully blue water, great food, and wine. You can sip a coffee while looking out over the Caldera formed from the island’s active volcano.

Did you know that the Tower of Pisa leans a mere four degrees? The lean began during construction as the foundation couldn’t hold the tower’s weight. It continued to worsen throughout its construction in the 14th century. It even leaned as much as 5.5 degrees into the 1990s. Thanks to some stabilization work, the tower’s lean has improved to the current four degrees.

Thinking about getting married in NYC? You'll need to be there at least one day before the wedding. The bride and groom must apply for and pick up their own wedding license in person. There is a 24-hour waiting period from the time it is issued to when the wedding can occur. Then a cruise honeymoon to top it off!

One of the most visited sites in Copenhagen, Denmark, is "The Little Mermaid" located at the Langelinie promenade. The bronze statue was unveiled in 1913 by sculptor Edvard Eriksen after being commissioned by Carl Jacobsen. Carl was captivated by the Copenhagen Royal Theatre’s ballet about the fairy tale and had the head modeled after the prima ballerina, Ellen Price. FYI, it a lot smaller than you might think.
