Travel Tip Tuesday:

When traveling with kids - consider the 80/20 Rule:

80% Routine: Try to stick to regular bedtime, nap and eating schedules as much as you can - a predictable schedule helps little ones feel secure while exploring new places.

20% Flexibility: Let go! Stay up for the fireworks show, swim in your resort pool under the stars - some of the magic of vacation is found in the unpredictable moments ✨ Check cruise schedules or the Walt Disney World app for must do events and schedule around them.

Also, pack extra snacks to have on hand - snacks with protein/fat/carbs help keep the energy up! Protein bars are easy to travel and pack!

Traveling with kids is a gift that you both will remember!

How was the cruise ship??!!

Let’s just say - I didn’t hear the words “I’m bored” on our cruise 😂👏

There was so much to DO and SEE!

👏Boys LOVED Adventure Ocean which was the kids club for ages 3-11. They literally asked to go there twice a day - dodge ball, video games - they were in heaven! Off they went while we had quiet time in the Solarium (adult section of the ship with hot tubs and pool)🙌🙌🙌

👏There was also a lounge just for teens 12-17 and for babies/toddlers (6-36 months)

👏Rock climbing wall
👏Ice skating
👏Ice Shows, Singing and Dancing Productions, comedian - all wonderful and top notch performances
👏Casino
👏A sports court with basketball, soccer
👏Mini golf
👏Flowrider surfing simulator
👏Perfect Storm water slides
👏Silent Dance party ROCKED!

Not to mention the pool and hot tubs, movies playing at night on the big screen.

So so so much going on - there was something for everyone onboard.

This ship also has specially dining options. My parents enjoyed Chops Grill and boasted about the food and service!

We loved Voyager of the Seas and felt this ship was the perfect size for our family ❤️

Tip: Use the Royal Caribbean app to add events to your calendar. The app will remind you with notifications! 📣

⭐️ They have the the tallest waterslide in North America - 135-foot-tall Daredevil’s Peak 😳
⭐️The Snack Shack had tons of meal options - ice cream - juice - water - cookies - you name it, included in the cost.

And plenty of chairs and umbrellas to relax and chill, too while the kids play.
