It’s the first day official of winter and boy do we feel it! 🥶 Current temperatures at the cabin are -15 degrees F. We are thankful it is supposed to warm back up above freezing in time for the holidays! 🎄

BEARTOOTH HIGHWAY SCHEDULED TO OPEN FRIDAY!

Montana Department of Transportation is excited to announce that our crews and Riverside Contracting are finishing up the repair work south of Red Lodge on US 212 ahead of schedule.
The Beartooth Highway will be opening this coming Friday (July 22, 2022) at 5pm.

Special thanks to the teams that worked so hard to get the repair work completed!

Our section of Rock Creek has thick cottonwood trees and brush-lined banks. Both Rainbow and Brown Trout call this creek home. It is a fly-fisherman’s dream! 🐟
