Harbor seals (aka rock sausages) are a common sight on our day paddles out of Roche Harbor! These lovable pinnipeds are often floating in kelp beds just outside the harbor or weaving through the docks in search of fish scraps🦭🎣

Along with sit-on-top kayaks, we now offer paddle boards for rental out of Roche Harbor🏄‍♂️‼️These brand new paddle boards allow you to explore the harbor at your own pace! Paddle around the harbor or lay out and sunbathe, it’s totally up to you.

Kayak training has officially begun🥳 Over the course of two weeks our guides go through an all encompassing training process in which they learn kayak safety, technic, and are educated on the local ecology and natural history. We get them hands on experience in everything they’ll need to excel at the job.

We are looking for support on a new senate bill amendment being introduced that affects whale watch and kayak tour companies. If you'd like to help support us, please complete the instructions below by the end of today, Wednesday, February 3rd.

SB 5330 amends an existing statute so that a commercial whale watching license is required only for commercial whale watching operators that wish to view Southern Resident killer whales. The amendment would change the language in the bill from operator watching “marine mammals” to specifically “southern resident killer whales”.
