I spent this last week staying at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and overall I’d say it was a beautiful resort.
This is not an all inclusive plan, so if that’s your style, I’d highly recommend!
Beach was stunning, Many unique dining options to appease all food cravings, several pool options (including cabana rentals $$), fun water park (including a wave pool, water slides for all ages, lazy river and a surf simulator), educational sanctuary where you can see sea turtles, flamingos, stingrays and more ($$), Vegas style casino ($$), amazing live entertainment nightly and probably the nicest staff/country of people I’ve ever met.
The only complaint I heard was how expensive everything was. The average drink was $15 and the average meal was $35. With that being said, everything is imported to the island so cost will be greater. If you know this going in, I believe you’ll be more than happy.
This is a property I’ll definitely recommend to the client looking for a non-all inclusive resort with a beautiful beach, easy to get to, fun and relaxing family vacation.
